So what is detox?We are living in a world with increasing toxins and carcinogens and unfortunately we are exposing ourselves, and absorbing them into our bodies. We ingest toxins through environmental factors, emotional stress, poor diet and nutrition, alcohol and smoking - to name but a few. Environmental factors are one of the major causes attributed to 80 – 90 percent of all cancers. Only a small handful of cases are actually genetically inherited. No matter what the reasons we may give, our daily diets seem to be skewed toward higher amounts of sugar, high glycaemic carbohydrates, refined food and high fat food. Toxins are inevitable in our lives but we have to limit our exposure to it.
